Building up the hype, Let Me Be Your Knight has been dropping enticing teasers acquainting viewers to its lead cast.
Let Me Be Your Knight narrates the story of a member of a popular idol band. Though he is known as a musical genius, he is suffering from a sleeping disorder.
A doctor agrees to secretly treat him. She enters the band’s dorm and forms fondness with the other members. As they work together to treat his disorder, the two healed together and found love.
Previously, character posters were unveiled revealing quick details about the lead cast. The text on the posters also revealed the meaning of music for them.
First, Jung In Sun, who plays In Yun-ju, the resident doctor commissioned to treat the leader of a popular idol band responds not knowing anything about music, but she is tasked to treat a music genius.
Music genius Yoon Tae-in, LUNA’s leader is portrayed by Lee Jun Young. He will receive mental treatment from Yun-ju. His gift in music makes him a confident and skilled music producer. “Music is as natural as breathing” reflects on his poster.
The other four flower boys of LUNA reflect their different characters based on the question raised. Seo Woo-yeon (Jang Dong Joo) hints at being a hopeless romantic with his response that “music is a pure excitement of first love”.
Hinting unexpressed sentiments, Lee Shin (Kim Jong Hyun) says “music is the thing that makes him feel the most unrestrained”.
Meanwhile, Kim Yu-chan (Yoon Ji Sung) evokes a realist spirit as he pursues music to become famous. Lastly, Woo Ga-on (Kim Dong Hyun) suggests an emotional story as he answers ”music is the thing that makes me forget”.
Character Stills + Video Teasers
Subsequently, SBS unveiled character stills of LUNA and Yun-ju flaunting their different charms.
While Jung In Sun attracts attention with her bright and energetic figure, her positive energy is in contrast to the serious expressions of Lee Jun Young. Having opposing personalities would make the romance expected to happen for them more exciting to anticipate.
Accordingly, Jang Dong Joo poses a pensive mood at a book store as Kim Jong Hyun charms with his faint sweet smile. Their moods counter the forlorn-looking Yoon Ji Sung and Kim Dong Hyun.
Additionally, video teasers of LUNA’s performance and the beginning of the “living together” setup were also released heightening viewers’ anticipation. The five-member band surely would become an addition to memorable fictional “flower boy groups” in K-Dramaland.
In the quick peek of Yun-ju’s first meeting with LUNA, she struggles to keep her cool with a barrage of TMI attacks and unexplained rebellion. Spewing harsh language appears to be a basic situation as well.
