Ji Chang Wook, Choi Soo Young, Sung Dong Il, and Won Ji An are confirmed to star in new healing drama, If You Say Your Wish.
KBS2 TV’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama, If You Say Your Wish, completes its awaited and star-studded cast. Directing the series is Director Kim Yong Wan, who directed The Cursed, which is slated to have its prequel.
Furthermore, actors Yang Hee Kyung, Kil Hae Yeon, Yoo Soon Woong, and Jeon Chae Eun are also confirmed to join the cast.
Tell Me You Wish chronicles the harsh life of Yoon Gyeo-ree (Ji Chang Wook). He lived his life in an orphanage and spent time in a detention center and prison.
Gyeo-ree then starts volunteer work in a hospice hospital, where he meets nurse Seo Yeon Joo (Choi Soo Young) and volunteer team leader Kang Tae Shik (Sung Dong Il). Struggling to find motivation and willingness to live, his encounter with these people will help in changing his life.
Known as ‘Team Genie,’ Sung Dong Il’s character, Kang Tae Shik, is a passionate volunteer leader who grants patients’ last wishes in different hospitals. He did experience moments in his life similar to Gyeo-ree’s, which are soon unveiled in the drama.
On the other hand, Choi Soo Young portrays the character of nurse Seo Yeon Joo. She is known as the ‘light’ of many patients’ lives because of her persevering hope that helps those who are struggling in life.
Lastly, actress Won Ji An, who made herself known in D.P., plays the character of Ha Joon Kyung. Abandoned and hasn’t experienced love from her parents, she believes that Gyeo-ree, who first reached out to her, is her family, protector, and love.
Audiences should anticipate her performance as Ha Joon Kyung, who is filled with obsession and possessiveness in her heart.
