BLACKPINK’s Jisoo Talks Why She is Lucky To Have Jung Hae In as Her First Leading Man in “Snowdrop”

Award-winning Korean pop idol Jisoo talks about her feelings working with Jung Hae In on their upcoming drama Snowdrop.

Snowdrop tells the story of Su-ho (Jung Hae In), a famous university student who takes refuge in a women’s dormitory. He meets Young-ro (Jisoo), a female university student who hides and treats him in the midst of the crisis.

Young-Ro fell in love at first sight with Su-ho when she saw him at a social gathering. However, one day he accidentally went to the female dormitory with blood all over his body. She did her best to hide him amidst his situation.

Jisoo’s Thoughts About Jung Hae In

In an interview, Jisoo shared her thoughts on her character Young-Ro as well as her collaboration with Jung Hae In.

Jisoo affirmed that her character is appealing and she did lots of effort to convey bright energy and make everyone happy. Moreover, the idol-actress said she also tried hard to think and act like Young-Ro.

“My character, Young-ro, is very attractive. Although she is just 20 years old, the power of attraction she possesses has chanelled to me well. She’s clumsy, but it’s nice to see her slowly growing up. Through her, I try to convey bright energy and make sure everyone has a good time.”

Meanwhile, Jisoo shared some feelings about her experience working with Jung, who’s also her first leading man.

“I was very lucky to have Jung Hae-in as my first leading man. I was confident that he monitored me from the first to the last shoot, and listened to and led me through the concerns about the role.”

She also conveyed how she got closed with everyone that it felt like living in a real dormitory. She said, “I had fun making friends before the broadcast, practicing and playing together, and getting closer.”

Furthermore, the Korean pop idol also shared that her co-members in BLACKPINK cheered for her and she gained lots of motivation to shoot harder. She also said that she felt the growth of Young-Ro and feels that she has also grown up as Jisoo.

Snowdrop will premiere its first episode on December 18, 10:30 pm on JTBC.
