KBS affirmed a new fantasy series starring Kim Dong Wook and Jin Ki Joo.
어쩌다 마주친, 그대 Run Into You (LT) narrates the strange and stunning time-traveling story of a man and a woman trapped in 1987.
Moreover, it will feature the story of a man who seeks the truth about a serial murderer in the past and a woman who wants to prevent the marriage of his mother and father. Realizing their goals are connected, they will work together for their respective missions.
Adorned with curious questions about whether they met through accident, coincidence, or fate; their tangled destinies would surely attract viewers.
KBS has also provided quick character sketches for the lead pair.
In the drama, Kim Dong Wook portrays Yoon Hae-jun who has a cool and straightforward personality. He became the youngest news anchor on weekends after joining the broadcasting company. Quick-witted with dashing looks, he possesses strong and healthy physique as well as a warm heart.
Previously, Kim Dong Wook worked in You Are My Spring, Find Me In Your Memory and Special Labor Inspector Jo.
Meanwhile, Jin Ki Joo takes on the role of Baek Yoon-young, an ordinary urban woman who responsibly does her job for her seniors.
Deeply regretting the past, an event turned her life upside down after lashing out her stress to her mom. From there, she starts living a different life.
Currently, Jin Ki Joo is appearing on From Now On Showtime. Her previous works include Homemade Love Story and The Secret life of My Secretary.
Run Into You is slated for broadcast in the second half of 2022 on KBS2 TV.
