Opposites Might Attract

Accordingly, the character posters shared show the lead pairing assimilating to their roles. Joseon Confucian girl Park Yeon-woo and the 21st-century tycoon Kang Tae-ha are in contrasting visuals from expressions to their costumes captured under the concept of ‘pictorial’.

First, Lee Se Young, wears a red hanbok and wedding veil, completely immersing herself in the role of curious Park Yeon-woo, showing off her lovely and lively appearance. In particular, the warm light pink background makes her stand out even more, and a wedding dress, not a hanbok, is slightly visible in the shoulder line that overlaps the wedding veil, raising curiosity.

Next to Lee Se Young’s bright smile, it says: “I will do whatever I can. Because you are my husband,” foreshadows the great performance of Park Yeon-woo, a Confucian girl from the Joseon Dynasty.

Bae In Hyuk, who plays the role of chaebol Kang Tae-ha, shows off his chic charm in a black tuxedo outfit and a traditional wedding face against a cool blue background.
Moreover, in direct contrast to Park Yeon-woo, the blue hanbok is reflected at the point where the bottom of the face covering and the tuxedo intersect, stimulating curiosity.

Unlike Kang Tae-ha’s expressionless face and cold eyes, the text “I saw a strange vision about you from the Joseon Dynasty” – raises expectations for Kang Tae-ha’s story.

The production team conveys preparation for the series.

In Lee Se-young and Bae In-hyuk’s character poster, we wanted to show the stark differences between the completely different worlds of Park Yeon-woo and Kang Tae-ha. What kind of narrative will be created when two people who are so different not only from the times but also in personality and behavior meet?

MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract is scheduled to air for the first time on November 24.
