KBS 2TV’s new drama has sealed Seo In Guk and Oh Yeon Seo in the main leads!
미남당 Minamdang: Case Note (LT) threads on an amusing and cryptic investigation by a profiler-turned-con-artist and a feisty detective.
Directed by Go Jae-hyun, who is recognized for his prowess in melodrama and action genres, the series will be penned by Park Hye-jin. Their combined portfolio includes Dinnermate, Player, Syndrome and The Emperor: Owner of the Mask.
Marking his return to KBS camp since Hello Monster, Seo In Guk plays the role of Nam Han-joon. He is a former profiler who becomes a conman. Han-joon boasts amazing fortune-telling skills, handsome looks and splendid sweet-talking abilities.
Using his profiler knowledge, he accurately identifies and solves what customers want, completing it with efficient after-sales service.
Also securing her small-screen return since Mad for Each Other, Oh Yeon Seo challenges the role of Han Jae-hee. She is a vivacious third-year female detective who has a quirky and straightforward attitude. Once she focuses on a case, regardless of the opponent’s status, she uses her verbal skills to diss.
The talented actress is known for her dramas A Korean Odyssey, My Sassy Girl, and Love With Flaws to name a few. She is expected to show an optimized appearance for the character Han Jae-hee, a detective who keeps her beliefs while being easy-going.
Minamdang: Case Note is scheduled to begin filming aiming to broadcast in the first half of 2022.
