Old and new faces decorate the second season of the well-loved series Missing: The Other Side!
Missing: The Other Side 2 continues the imaginative and heartwarming story set in a village lived by ghosts who died of disheartening deaths and whose bodies weren’t recovered yet.
In 2020, the first season aired and received favorable reviews for its impressive storytelling that blends fantasy, mystery and ruminative moments. Incorporating stellar portrayals, the interesting subject of life and death was profoundly conveyed in the series.
Meet The Lead Cast
Reprising their roles in Missing The Other Side 2 are Go Soo, Heo Joon Ho, Ahn So Hee and Ha Joon. Joining them in the lead cast are Lee Jung Eun and Kim Dong Hwi.
Filming begins in earnest for the series with a goal to broadcast in the second half of this year.
Praised for their impeccable portrayals, Go Soo and Heo Joon Ho (Doctor Lawyer, Why Her) return as Kim Wook and Jang Pan-suk respectively. They met at Duon, the cryptic village inhabited by wandering souls.
Ahn So Hee anticipates synergy with Go Soo as his reliable partner. Ha Jun who had a bittersweet love story in the first season keeps his post as a homicide detective.
Meanwhile, Lee Jung Eun (Juvenile Justice, Our Blues) joined as a new member. She plays Kang Eun-sil, a resident of Industrial Complex 3, which is a new setting for season 2 and is another village inhabited by the dead.
She was a captain with 30 years of experience when she was alive. But now she is a person with a mysterious past living at Industrial Complex 3.
Rising actor Kim Dong Hwi (Stranger 2) suits up as Yoo Yong-yong. He is a third-year resident of the industrial complex who struggles to track down his death and his missing body.
The production team of Missing The Other Side 2 shared a more elaborate story that viewers can expect.
