TV CHOSUN’s new weekend mini-series is all set to premiere in December.
Reuniting after six years since Confession Couple, Jang Nara and Son Ho Jun challenge a psychological thriller story in My Happy End.
My Happy Ending is a human story about a woman who only chased success and faced a shocking truth due to the betrayal of the people she trusted.
Notably, helming the project is director Cho Su-won of I Hear Your Voice, Pinocchio, Still 17, and Doctor John fame, raising viewers’ expectations.
In addition, joining Jang Nara and Son Ho Jun are reliable actors So Yi Hyun, Lee Ki Taek, Kim Hong Pa, and Park Ho San.
Heralding the birth of a human psychological thriller of a different level, My Happy Ending releases the first teaser carrying a piercing vibe and suffocating tension.
In the 30-second first teaser, the unique vibe complementing the grandiose background music highlights the characters.
First, Seo Jae-won (Jang Nara) appears, leaning against a wall while the majestic string instrument melody resonates. Soon, the left and right sides are reversed like decalcomania, and bubbles appear between the figures of Seo Jae-won on both sides, evoking a sense of anxiety.
Next, Seo Jae-won and Heo Sun-young (Son Ho Jun) look happy at the wedding. It shifts to a scene where Jae-won gives Sun-young a back hug as she pours tea in comfortable clothes giving us an idea of a friendly couple.

Then, Kwon Yun-jin (So Yi Hyun), who is working on a painting one after another, and Seo Jae-won’s stepfather Seo Chang-seok (Kim Hong Pa) appear with smiles on their faces.
Interestingly, Sun-young, sitting at his professor’s lab, attracts attention with a serious face that is different from when he was with Jae-won earlier.
A picture of someone falling into the water and drowning changes the vibe as time goes backwards and the scene rises above the water as if rewinding.
As Seo Jae-won stands tall with a determined expression, her eyes are drawn to the man and woman with their naked backs exposed on the bed, shocking her.
Lastly, Yoon Teo (Lee Ki Taek), Heo Sun-young, Nam Tae-ju (Park Ho San), and Kwon Yun-jin, who are all smiling brightly, pass each other intensely for a brief moment, and then Seo Jae-won, whose eyes turn cold, quietly asks, “Who are you?” creating an extreme contrast. It raises doubts about what events the characters will face in the endless scenes.
