Namgoong Min and Jeon Yeo Been Team Up for New Melodrama

Namgoong Min and Jeon Yeo Been embark on an irresistible romance in the upcoming SBS drama Our Movie, set to air in 2025.

The melodrama tells the story of a film director struggling with the “sophomore jinx”—where initial success is followed by a steep decline—and a free-spirited aspiring actress with limited time left due to a terminal illness. Together, they heal their emotional wounds and fall in love while working on a film.

Our Movie (LT) is gaining attention for its star-studded cast, with Namgoong Min, a widely respected actor, and Jeon Yeo Been, known for her versatile roles, coming together for the first time. Adding to the excitement, director Lee Jung Heum, who previously worked on hit dramas like Gugyeongi and Nobody Knows, reunites with Namgoong Min after they collaborate on Falsify, promising a unique and engaging viewing experience.

Namgoong Min takes on the role of Lee Je Ha, a film director who followed in his father’s footsteps and achieved global fame with his debut film. However, he’s now trapped by the sophomore jinx and has been inactive for five years. His latest project, a film about a character with limited time left, marks his return. The audience is eager to see if Lee Je Ha can break free from his creative slump, and how Namgoong Min will bring this complex character to life.

Jeon Yeo Been plays Lee Da-eum, an aspiring actress suffering from a rare, incurable disease. With an uncertain lifespan, she has earned the affection of everyone around her due to her outgoing personality. When she becomes involved in a movie about limited time, her interest in acting reignites, marking a turning point in her life. Viewers are excited to witness Jeon Yeo Been’s portrayal of Lee Da-eum, as the character seizes control of her own story at the very end of her life.

Our Movie promises to deliver a heartfelt narrative filled with emotional depth, with both Namgoong Min and Jeon Yeo Been expected to give powerful performances.
