Night Photo Studio is about a prickly photographer and a hot-blooded lawyer at a photo studio specializing in ghost photography that exists only for the dead. It deals with life and death featuring a clientele served at night time.
Playing the role of Han Bom, a once successful prosecutor, Kwon Nara colors her new drama character with fascinating colors.
Han Bom still retains a strong sense of duty and justice from her days as a former prosecutor. So, even when she has become a lawyer, she still acts as if she thinks she is a prosecutor. This is why Bom’s nickname is ‘nasty lawyer’.
For this reason, requests have stopped coming in, and the only ones that come in are free defense arguments, making it difficult to earn a living, and it’s already been three months since she’s been behind her rent.
While she feels that her life is on a thrilling downward spiral, it is expected to turn 180 degrees when she meets Seo Gi-ju (Joo Won), a professional photographer for guests and a ‘strange tenant’ who enters her house.
As she becomes entangled with him, Bom begins to see previously invisible things, and for the first time, she plans to defend the guests.
What is the story behind how ghosts accepted a subsistence lawyer who had never received a commission? And what kind of fascinating and ‘ghostly’ stories she will experience with Ki-ju, the owner of a photo studio, is even more eagerly anticipated.
