Showcasing the fierce survival in a workplace, No One But A Madman opens its doors on June 23.
MBC’s new drama series follows the stories of middle-aged workers in a changing workplace. The series produces by iWill Media and directed by Choi Jeong In. Penning the screenplay is Jung Do Yoon (Witch’s Court, The Uncanny Counter).

No One But A Madman depicts how “crazy” the reality of working in a changing society. The lead characters of the series share their struggle in surviving and achieving their goals in this setup.

Providing a fierce lead, actress Moon So Ri transforms into a workaholic Head of the HR Department, Tang Ja Young. She dreams of being the first female executive in their electronics company. The actress is known for her performance on My Life’s Golden Age and The Legend.

Finally, adding warmth and humor is Choi Ban Seok (Jung Jae Young). With a 22-year career as an electronic developer of Hanmyung Electronics, he faces his biggest struggle. To continuously earn and have a job, he transfers to the HR Department. He endured his struggles with humor and met Tang Ja Young.
Jung Jae Young starred in many notable films such as Someone Special and Welcome To Dongmakgol. His notable dramas include Partners for Justice 1 & 2
In an interview, Jung Jae Young spoke about the collaboration with Moon So Ri. He stated, “It’s our first time to meet in the workplace, and it’s as comfortable and easy to breathe as if we’ve done several works together.”
The actress Moon So Ri also added, “I’m happy to be able to act together. I am filming happily.” She continues, “I’m paying attention to Senior Jung Jae Young, who I met as a subordinate of the HR team, and the chemistry of the “fight” as well.” I hope it brings a meaningful story that shares by viewers.”
No One But A Madman premieres the “mad” competition on June 23 every Wednesday-Thursday at 9 PM KST on MBC.
