One Ordinary Day

Coupang Play has released its newest video teaser for upcoming drama One Ordinary Day.

One Ordinary Day will feature one of South Korea’s biggest stars, Kim Soo Hyun, in the role of Kim Hyun Soo.

Hyun Soo is an ordinary university student whose life will never be the same after he becomes the main suspect in a murder case overnight.

The drama, which is a remake of the BBC show Criminal Justice, will also feature Cha Seung Won as Shin Joong Han. Joong Han is a third-class lawyer who struggled to pass the bar exam. He’s also the only person willing to reach out to help Kim Hyun Soo. And he never asks Hyun Soo for the truth.

The sixty-second trailer shows Hyun Soo’s struggle in the prison system. The innocent student becomes desperate and depressed as he’s beaten by other prisoners and can’t find his role in the community. His fall from grace seems limitless, as he is humiliated and frustrated.

“Are you having a hard time?”

But he isn’t alone in prison, as seen when a man in a suit comes to visit him. A beaten and exhausted Hyun Soo then signs on with Joong Han as his lawyer.

The trailer ends with Hyun Soo running away from someone unknown.

One Ordinary Day will premiere on November 27. International fans can watch it on Viu or Viki.
