Containing meaningful rumors surrounding Crown Prince Lee Hwan, Our Blooming Youth releases its first teaser video.
Our Blooming Youth, a new Monday-Tuesday show on tvN, is a mysterious theme drama that tells the story of a cursed crown prince while also investigating a family murder case, in which a brilliant girl is identified as the culprit. It also depicts a youth vindication romance.
The team-up of director Lee Jong Jae of 100 Days My Prince fame, and writer Jung Hyun Jung (I Need Romance series franchise, Discovery of Love), a master of romantic comedy, has already raised more expectations.
Its first teaser gives viewers a glimpse of the threatening energy directed against Crown Prince Lee Hwan. In the thick of a hot and humid forest, Lee Hwan wonders:
“Have you heard it? I am cursed by a demon.”
And then there’s the image of a woman being struck by an arrow, and even drops of crimson blood, and the image of Lee Hwan directing the bowstring at him with an odd look in his eyes as if possessed by something.
Whether or not he is, in fact, under a malicious curse is a topic of much conjecture.
In the midst of this, Lee Hwan reveals his will,
“Even if I am cursed, I will not be shaken.”
Our Blooming Youth, the first teaser for which hinted at a potentially explosive mystery, follows a young man as he struggles to forge his own path in the face of unforeseen obstacles; it promises to be an interesting watch, from heartfelt romance to high-stakes action.
Our Blooming Youth will premiere on February 6 at 8:50 p.m.
