Prime Video has officially announced the launch of its newest Korean romance series, Surely Tomorrow, led by two powerhouse actors.
Park Seo Jun (Itaewon Class, The Marvels, Jinny’s Kitchen) and Won Ji An (Squid Game S2-3, HeartBeat, D.P.) star in the highly anticipated series, which will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories, with new episodes releasing weekly.
A Romance Spanning Years and Second Chances
Surely Tomorrow tells the story of Lee Kyeong-do (Park Seo Jun) and Seo Ji-woo (Won Ji An), two people whose love story refuses to stay in the past. They first fell for each other in their early twenties, but life and circumstance tore them apart. Years later, fate gave them another chance in their late twenties—but once again, their romance ended. Now in their thirties, their paths cross under unexpected and complicated circumstances: Kyeong-do, working as a journalist covering a sensational scandal, finds Ji-woo at the heart of the storm—as the wife of the man caught in it.
Against a backdrop of media scrutiny, old memories, and unresolved emotions, their unexpected reunion forces them to face questions they once left behind. Can love survive time, heartbreak, and the harsh spotlight of public opinion?
The drama is directed by Lim Hyun-ook, known for hits like King the Land and Reflection of You, and written by acclaimed screenwriter Yu Young-ah, whose works include Thirty-Nine and Divorce Attorney Shin. Together, they promise a series rich in emotional depth, nostalgic storytelling, and heartwarming yet bittersweet moments that will resonate with viewers.
Korean dramas are loved worldwide for their unique ability to weave romance with meaningful life lessons, and Surely Tomorrow is no exception. With Park Seo-jun and Won Ji-an at the center, the series is expected to capture the chemistry of first love, the pain of heartbreak, and the hope that comes with a third chance at happiness. It’s not just a love story—it’s a journey through time, memory, and destiny.
The show also taps into universal themes: the way people change as they grow older, the courage it takes to love again after loss, and the bittersweet beauty of nostalgia. Whether you’re a long-time fan of Park Seo-jun, curious about Won Ji-an’s rising career, or simply a lover of heartfelt K-dramas, Surely Tomorrow is poised to be a series that lingers long after the final episode.
