Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist 2 concluded its first season in September filled with healing stories and laughter.
Slated to broadcast its sequel this January 2023, tvN teases fans with new interesting characters to be played by Kang Young Seok (100 Days My Prince) and Woo Davi (Dear M).
The first season of the series touched the hearts of those who were emotionally hurt. It showed the performance and growth of the members of the Gyesoo Family, who overcame their trauma while healing those suffering from mental illness.
Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist 2 is a historical, comical, and medical drama that follows the story of a talented acupuncturist, Yoo Se-poong (Kim Min Jae).
He meets Seo Eun-woo (Kim Hyang Gi), a widow, Gye Ji-han (Kim Sang Kyung), and other members of Gyesoo Clinic, with whom he became his second family.

The unveiled teaser poster of the series hints at the possible story that the new characters will unfold.
Furthermore, the production team of the series proudly presents the characters that Kang and Woo will be portraying.
“Kang Young Seok, who has his color, plays the role of Jeon Gang-il, a member of the National Assembly. He is expected to skillfully portray an ambitious man who wants to stand tall as the Joseon Dynasty’s No. 1 lawmaker.
