Reflection of You character sketches reveal the anxious and weary countenance of the four main leads.
Reflection of You tells the story of two women who are facing contrasting odds.
Jung Hee-joo, a woman who resisted social expectations as a wife and mother, pursues her own desires. Meanwhile, there’s Goo Hae Won, who became a supporting figure in her life after a brief encounter with Hee-joo.
The main character, Jung Hee-joo (Go Hyun Jung), appears to be staring back slightly with her concerned eyes on the character poster. She is a successful painter and essay writer. On her poster, the text is written – “What is the purpose of your coming to me?” raises curiosity.
Following that is a poster of Goo Hae-won (Shin Hyun Been) with a blank gaze. After a spectacular youth, she is a figure that wears an old coat all three seasons. She is, nevertheless, damaged, out of control and has a secretive aura.
Subsequently, in Seo Woo Jae’s poster (Kim Jae Young), he appears tranquil at first but then asks someone, “Are we unhappy then?” with unsteady eyes.
Furthermore, for the final character poster, Ahn Hyeon-seong (Choi Won Young) shows a frown on his face. He is the son of a wealthy family and a caring husband to Hee-joo. The remark “I’d rather tell a lie” then follows, raising expectations about the truth he was attempting to avoid.
Two women with an opposite dramatic story
Previously, the female leads are also featured in teaser videos.
Both of the main leads’ expressions and reactions blend together like a mosaic. In Hee-joo’s teaser, she claims she’s not yet in hell in a somber mood. Meanwhile, Hae-won’s line evokes pain in her line: “something inside of me is definitely broken”.
Teasers for the Reflection of You effectively drive contrasting experiences for the lead female characters.
A woman who has everything but is filled with emptiness, while the other seems to be irreparably broken. Viewers will anticipate the drama as its stories unfold.
Meanwhile, the premiere of Reflection of You will be on October 13th at 10:30 PM on JTBC.
