Two women with two different worlds intertwine in the latest Wednesday-Thursday drama by JTBC in October.
Slated for release in October, the newest poster unveiled for Reflection of You describes the relationship of the female leads of the series.
The series is a melodrama about an encounter between two women whose fortunes are completely different.
One woman defies the socially acceptable roles of wife and mother and has remained committed to her ambitions. Then there’s the other woman who has turned into a supporting character in her life.
Playing the female leads are Go Hyun Jung and Shin Hyun Been with Choi Won Young and Kim Jae Young rounding up the lead cast.
In the main poster released, Jung Hee-joo (Go Hyun Jung) is garbed in an elegant off-shoulder dress while holding a frame behind Gu Hae-won (Shin Hyun Been) who wears a white dress. Hee-joo seemingly represents protecting her own space while Hae-won looks indifferent as if threatening Hee-joo beyond her own space.
There is also a subtle atmosphere in their expressions, who seem to be facing each other by the frame. Also, the phrase “the person I forgot, I wanted to forget” raises curiosity about what it means and who it is talking about. Moreover, the image alludes to the contrast of how the two women occupy the space inside and outside.
Go Hyun Jung, who seems to be holding the stable life of Jung Hee-joo inside the frame, and Shin Hyun Been, who symbolizes the misery of Goo Hae-won, who became a supporting character in her life outside the frame, complete the impressive main poster with a breath of namelessness.
Reflection of You will premiere on October 13 on JTBC.
