Alchemy of Souls narrates the stories of people whose destinies are magically altered, thereby switching their souls. This change modifies their souls, allowing them to grow in the background of a fictional country that does not exist in history or on maps.
It piques the viewers’ interest in the reunion of writers Hong Jeong Eun and Hong Mi Ran, who have written the notable work Hotel Del Luna and director Park Jun Hwa, who directed What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim and Touch Your Heart.
First, Lee Jae Wook plays Jang-wook, a noble yet short-tempered master of the fictional country in the story. He has a tragic past with a shocking birth secret that is well-known across the country.
Praised for his captivating portrayals, the actor previously worked on Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol, Extraordinary You and Search: WWW. He is likely to reprise his role as a female heart thief by portraying a gentleman who appears serene and cool on the surface but has a fiery and wicked disposition on the inside.
Subsequently, Jung So Min portrays Mu Deok-yi, an amazing assassin stuck in the body of a weakling. Deok-yi has a charismatic presence, however, her body can’t attune to her vigor.

Meet The Main Cast of Return
Hwang Min Hyun plays Seo-yul, a brilliant nobleman and prince from the Seo family. He has a dull sense of reality due to being excessively perfect from appearance to intellect. He also harbors a secret love for a woman.
Performing in the musicals Marie Antoinette and Live On, Minhyun is establishing himself well as an actor with stable acting skills that cross the classics and modern times.
Next, Shin Seung Ho suits up as a petty and rude crown prince Go Won. Behind his crude facade, he aims to be a generous and benevolent monarch. He only reveals his inner feelings to Deok-yi. Shin made his breakthrough with the online drama, A-Teen and impressed viewers with the Netflix series D.P.
Along with this, Yoo Jun Sang plays Park Jin. He is the head of the largest company in the country. He is a gifted leader who is respected for her strong charisma and delicate leadership. His only concern is Jang Wook, the son of his close friend who he also treats as his own son.
Following that, Oh Na Ra portrays Kim Do-joo, the butler of the Jang family. Possessing a fiery demeanor, she takes care of all the affairs of the Jang family.
