For his latest project, Kim Dong Wook portrays a time traveler in KBS2’s Monday-Tuesday drama, My Perfect Stranger.
My Perfect Stranger is a fantasy and mystery drama about two people who were trapped in 1987 with different but connected objectives. A man who wants to uncover the truth behind a murder case and a woman who desires to stop her parents’ wedding. They realize that their goals are connected and work together to accomplish their respective missions.
Penning the script for My Perfect Stranger is Baek So-yeon with Kang Soo-yeon and Lee Woong-hee in charge of directing. Along with the teaser poster released is the affirmation of the premiere on May 1.
Acquainting viewers with the character of Kim Dong Wook, the series unveils teaser images.
Portraying the role of Yoon Hae-jun, the actor is seen with a serious and persuasive expression in one of the teaser photos. Then, in another image, he sits in an orange car, showing a resolute attitude.
Hae-jun is a journalist in 2021 who accidentally gets a time machine and lives the life of a time traveler by chance. He travels back in time to 1987, experiencing strange things.
In the photo, Kim Dong Wook has a serious and persuasive expression. While looking at someone gives a deep and strong impression, in another photo, he is sitting in an orange car and showing a determined attitude.
Accordingly, the production team piques interest by hinting at Kim’s extraordinary role.
“We hope you will carefully look at the message that Kim Dong Wook is trying to convey through the character of Yoon Hae-jun.”
My Perfect Stranger will be broadcast for the first time on May 1 on KBS2!
