Billed as human sci-fi series, SBS upcoming Friday-Saturday offering – Alice – readies to launch its premiere.
Joo Won and Kim Hee Sun are unveiled in the main poster released by SBS today, heightening excitement for its premiere on August 28. This marks the small screen return of Joo Won post military service. In the released poster, the air of mystery envelops the curious gazes of the main characters.
Plot Sketch
Alice takes on the scientific concept of time warp. It paints the story of a time-traveling woman who resembles the face of the hero’s dead mother in the story.

Main Leads
Portraying the role of Park Jin Gyeom, the apathetic detective who bumps on the existence of time travelers from the future is Joo Won. After his mother died, Detective Park lives only to find out who killed her mother. When a woman who looks like her mother appeared right before his eyes, he vowed to protect her with all his might.
Expected to own his newest role, Joo Won’s Detective Jin character is revealed to have brilliant mind who investigates with evidence and logic.
His small screen comeback marks his third time suiting up as man in uniform after Bridal Mask and 7th Grade Civil Servant. Additionally, his other notable works include Naeil’s Cantabile, Yongpal and My Sassy Girl.

Kim Hee Sun suits up to the role of genius physicist Yoon Tae Yi. She discovers the secret to time-traveling and she also share the same face of Detective Park’s mother.
Scoring back to back hits in the last two years, Kim Hee Sun preps up to show her soft sentiments in her latest drama.
Known for her timeless beauty, Kim has challenged her acting spectrum by presenting various characters through the years. Her last lauded dramas are Woman of Dignity and Room No. 9.
Interestingly, the drama Faith, which she starred with Lee Min Ho, has had her portrayed the role of a surgeon who wrinkled time and found love in the process.

Rounding up the cast are Kwak Si Yang and Lee Da In, Kim Sang Ho, Choi Won Young, Lee Jae Yoon, Hwang Seung Eon and Yeon-woo.
Creative Team
Penning the script for Alice is Kim Kyu Won. In charge of the production is director Baek Soo Chan. Director Baek has worked on dramas including Into the World Again, Beautiful Gong Shim and A Girl Who Sees Smells.
Beginning August 28, Alice opens to a mysterious world that will awe the viewers on SBS.
