Park Hae Jin, Jin Ki Joo, Go Gyu Pil, and Jung Suk Yong immerse in their roles to give us a good laugh through Showtime Begins!
Parading Showtime Begins‘ shooting progress, MBC unveiled still cuts of the actors on set. Park Hae Jin, Jin Ki Joo, Go Gyu Pil, and Jung Suk Yong also strikes quirky poses together, teasing the audience with their chemistry.
The upcoming comical series is directed by Lee Hyung Min, who created a few of the iconic K-Drama series we all love. His works include Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, Orange Marmalade, Winter Sonata, and more.
Showtime Begins! follows the story of a magician, Cha Cha Woong (Park Hae Jin), who works with ghosts. He also teams up with a female police officer, Go Seul Hae (Jin Ki Joo), who has supernatural powers.
As they investigate cases, Cha Woong and Seul Hae are joined by ghosts that help them to discover clues. Nam Sang Geun (Jung Suk Yong) is a delivery driver who died in an accident.
On the other hand, actor Go Gyu Pil will play the ghost of Ma Dong Cheol, a gangster turned-bachelor. Lastly, Park Seo Yeon transforms into the ghost of Kang Ah Reum from a prestigious engineering college.
The “ghost trio,” Sang Geun, Gyu Pil, and Seo Yeon, will add excitement and fun as they help with the investigations.
Even though the cast of the series only worked together for half a month, they showed energetic chemistry in the stills. We can sense their comfort working together with their smiles teasing us with their synergy that will make us laugh and cry.
Furthermore, the series aims to broadcast its fun and heartwarming episodes next year.
