Park Hae Jin To Start Working With Ghosts In Upcoming MBC Drama

Park Hae Jin confirmed that he would be taking part in the comedy-romance-investigative drama that will air in the first half of 2022.

Directed by Lee Hyung Min and written by Ha Yoon-ah, 지금부터 쇼타임 Showtime From Now (LT), promises to be a romantic-comedy-drama will be worth the wait.

The plot revolves around Cha Cha Woong (Park Hae Jin), a charismatic magician who can also communicate with ghosts. Unlike the existing characters who were afraid of ghosts, he is capable of manipulating ghosts at will.

Since he can communicate with ghosts, he works with a female police officer with supernatural powers to solve cases involving spirits.

Expectations also arose on the different ghosts that he will meet and how he will have a “bromance” relationship with them. 

This new drama will give both a good laugh and heart-flattering moments as Cha Woong and the female police officer (to be announced) venture into solving cases.

While screenwriter Ha Yoon-ah identifies with her recent work in JTBC drama, Mystic Pop-Up Bar.

The selection of Park Hae Jin in the lead role of  Showtime From Now draws the keen attention of the viewers along with their expectations.

He has successfully dressed up several characters since 2007. Seong-yi’s friend in My Love From Another Star, a psychopath in Bad Guys, the romantic Yoo-jung in Cheese in the Trap, and a hard-working intern in his recent drama Kkdondae Intern

He is also consistent in having lead roles in numerous Korean dramas and films. The actor has secured the trust of many directors and viewers because of his excellence in acting.

In his latest venture, he will once again showcase his incredible acting and how he will live up as an employer surrounded by ghosts. 

As for now, the series is currently casting and will start filming in September.
