Suiting up to the role of North Korean special forces soldier, Song Jae Rim marks TV drama comeback.
His agency AL Entertainment confirmed the actor’s appearance as one of the lead cast in 피타는 연애 Blood Riding Love (WT).
Slated for 2022 premiere, the series tells the romantic story about a world star doted by the female populace and a North Korean elite lady soldier.
Song Jae Rim takes on the role of Sung Jae-hoon, a North Korean special forces soldier. On the outside, he is a perfect urban man who speaks the Seoul language with a sophisticated appearance, but in reality, he is still a person who pursues a higher ideal than capitalism.
As an attractive villain that threatens inter-Korean harmony, he is expected to heighten the tension in the story.
Through this work, Song Jae-rim is expected to show dazzling charisma in luxury suits and high-octane action frames as a top-notch soldier.
This year, Song appeared in the drama How To Be Thirty. His most recent works include I Wanna Hear Your Song, Clean With Passion For Now and Our Gap-soon.
Blood Riding Love is scheduled to air in 2022. Previously, it announced Kim Min Seok and Nam Gyu Ri as part of the lead cast.
