Online buzz begins for Stealer The Treasure Keeper as its main hero is introduced with latest teasers!
Stealer The Treasure Keeper is a caper comic action series in which a mysterious cultural property thief and an unofficial cultural property recovery team unite against people who cannot be judged by the law.
Joo Won takes on the role of Hwang Dae-myung, a civil servant who goes to work at the Cultural Heritage Administration during the day, but at night, he transforms into a mysterious thief who steals cultural assets by visiting the trafficking site of cultural assets.
Joining the actor in the lead cast is Lee Joo Woo who plays the role of Choi Min-woo, an elite police officer full of passion and justice.
Previously, the first teaser video shows the mysterious cultural asset thief, portrayed by Joo Won. Subsequently, the series highlights the actor’s dual roles in a teaser poster showing his two characters.
In the teaser poster, Hwang Dae-myung is showing off his heavy presence with a mischievous expression holding spray paint. Behind him is a quirky photo of his other persona, the not-so-favorite person of people aiming for cultural properties.
On top of the poster, the word ‘STEALER’ is drawn which is hinted to be Dae-myung’s work. Contradicting his snappy moves against the bad guys involved in cultural assets trafficking, the thief poses playfully.

Correspondingly, in the teaser stills featuring Joo Won, more details about his double life are unveiled.
In the drama, Dae-myung is a person who is far from being a sincere employee. Because he has nothing to look forward to, he sometimes shows off his extraordinary performance with a cheeky smile. However, there was a time when he vaunted his elite side. Thus, it stimulates curiosity about whether he has a story he is hiding.
The biggest secret of the eccentric civil servant Joo-won is his alter ego called ‘Skunk’. Revealing his appearance only at night, he is considered a nuisance to both thieves and the police by stealing only cultural assets that are illegally hidden by high-ranking members of society. This raises intrigue why he’s stealing and hiding his identity at the same time.
In the published photo, Skunk wears a black suit and goggles at the crime scene with a commanding presence. It seems he dangerously punishes people once he is set on his goal.
Interestingly, Dae-myung flaunts his charisma beaming brightly. Perhaps because he carried out a covert operation in the middle of the night, he faced a storm and slept soundly. But he shows his unique calm smile, making it impossible to hate him.
