Sung Hoon & Hoàng Yến Chibi To Spur Romance While Highlighting Famous Korea Travel Spots In “Suspicious Hallyu Star”

Perfect for the cozy holiday season vibe, Sung Hoon and Hoàng Yến Chibi are set to paint an endearing rom-com story.

Slated for December 27 release, Suspicious Hallyu Star depicts the unpredictable romance between a hallyu star who meets an entertainment reporter.

In the drama, Sung Hoon takes the role of JIN, an entertainer who turns into a boy when he touches a woman. His pairing with Hoàng Yến Chibi, a popular Vietnamese actress, draws attention from overseas fans following the Korean and ASEAN collaboration.

The two actor-singers will also participate in the drama original soundtrack. Organized by Arirang TV, with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; It is produced by ASEAN production company YOUNG WAVE CREATIVE. Additionally, the web series introduces various tourist destinations in South Korea.

As such, it will be a scenic feast as the drama was shot in Hongcheong Alpaca World, Jeonju Hanok Village, Sangdang Sanseong Fortress, Suncheon City and Songgwangsa Temple to name a few.

It specifically captured the stunning autumn wonders of Korea which will further magnify the sweet impression of the drama. Suspicious Hallyu Star runs 15 minutes of five episodes.

The ASEAN-Korea joint web drama Suspicious Hallyu Star begins first broadcast on December 27. It will stream on Arirang TV World Channel and its official YouTube channel.

In Vietnam, it will be aired in the state-run terrestrial TV VTV. Additionally it will be available in Indonesia via METRO TV, and Southeast Asia’s largest MCN company Web TV Asia’s YouTube channel METUB Network.
