Meet The Main Characters of Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938
If the teaser poster created excitement by announcing the meaningful comeback of Lee Yeon, the main poster unveiled showcases the six main characters of the series.
Brimming with distinct charisma, they appear to have come out of a banquet hall which became a mess after a hunt they executed.
The phrase on the poster that says “It’s time to hunt” adds to the curiosity about the mission of those who have returned to the era where taboos disappeared.
In the first season, Lee Yeon achieved a happy ending with his eternal first love, Nam Ji-ah. But he will visit 1938 when he gets caught up in an unexpected incident. His desperate attempt to return to the present time will be dynamically drawn as well as the reason why he was summoned to 1938.
Next, Kim So Yeon takes on the role of Ryu Hong-joo, the owner of a top-notch restaurant in Gyeongseong, and a former western mountain god with tremendous strength.
The story of brothers Lee Rang (Kim Bum) and Lee Yeon is again an important point in the drama.
Ryu Kyung Soo plays Chun Moo-young, a man who can bring back the dead.
Hwang Hee plays Goo Shin-ju, a native fox who goes on a tough monster hunt with Lee Yeon.
Lastly, Kim Yong Ji transforms into Sunwoo Eun-ho, a reporter for the Sunwoo Ilbo.
