A teaser trailer for YG Entertainment’s new TREASURE web drama The Mysterious Class dropped at 10:00 p.m. KST on Friday, one week ahead of the drama’s first episode officially premiering.
The trailer starts featuring Hyunsuk and Yedam chanting the spell “Shin Shin-Saba”, and asking “If you are here now, please answer me.”
As soon as those words are uttered, a pen in their hand heads towards an O between the options of an O and an X, and a thunderstorm begins to rage.
The trailer features a dead bird crashing into a window, a finger looking over a shoulder, an unidentified teddy bear, blood splattered across some sheet music, a shaman performing a rite to ward off a ghost, and a homeroom teacher who has fallen down the stairs.
The teaser trailer is only sixty seconds long, but its eerie and creepy vibe is immersive. The conversations of the students the members of Treasure play also attract viewers to the drama.
“Officially, there are twenty people in our class,” says Doyoung in the trailer.
“Then why are there twenty-one in our class?” asks Jaehyuk.
The web drama is scheduled to premiere at 10:00 p.m. KST on November 12th. The Mysterious Class is a drama in the mystery teen thriller genre, with the twelve members of TREASURE forming the main characters as students in the same class who doubt each other in order to find the ghost.
The drama will consist of eight episodes. Episodes will drop every Friday for the rest of the year. Episodes will drop on the official TREASURE’s YouTube channel.
