Kim Jae won and Yeonwoo appear as charming lovers in the Joseon era in JTBC’s new weekend drama The Tale of Lady Ok.
Set to premiere on November 30, the drama recently released its first stills, featuring Kim Jae Won as Seong Do-gyeom and Yeonwoo as Cha Mi-ryeong.
The Tale of Lady Ok, written by Park Ji-sook and directed by Jin Hyeok, tells the story of Ok Tae-young (Lim Ji Yeon), a woman living a life of deception with a fake name, identity, and husband, and Cheon Seung-hwi (Choo Young Woo), a man determined to protect her.
In addition to the main plot, the intriguing storyline of Seong Do-gyeom, Ok Tae-young’s respected brother-in-law, and Cha Mi-ryeong, her role model, promises a rich narrative. Seong Do-gyeom, a young man celebrated for passing the civil service exam, is admired by his community. However, his life takes a turn when he crosses paths with Cha Mi-ryeong, a kind-hearted and confident woman working under Ok Tae-young. Despite her gentle nature, Cha Mi-ryeong hides a secret of her own.
