Friends For Keeps
A parade of photos featuring the memories of the three friends is featured in the unveiled photos from the production team. From weekend hiking and drinking makgeolli on top of the mountain, they also enjoy tteokbokki after work and release stress by chatting.
Being at each other’s company gives a special kind of peace. The three friends first met when they were 18 and have since built plenty of memories they can fondly look back. Although they are now at the age of adding soju to tteokbokki, their friendship is as lively as when they were 18.
Cha Mi-jo, Jung Chan-young, and Jang Joo-hee, who have been crying and laughing together for over 20 years, are going to spend a very special and exciting 39th year. Their friendship is showing signs of growing more affectionate enough to pour their time for each other and throw their pride in front of others.
These extraordinary moments surely will resonate with viewers who also have their own circle.
Global fans can watch Thirty, Nine on Netflix beginning February 16.
