Yumi's Cells 2

Yumi’s Cells 2 follows the story of Kim Yu Mi (Kim Go Eun) on her journey to heal her heart and give love another chance. Her previous relationship with Ku Woong (Ahn Bo Hyun) helped her grow and learn to balance love and dreams.

Her co-worker, Yoo Babi, will then help Yu Mi to have the courage to open another chapter in her life bravely. Their friendship flourishes into romance as their love cells help them figure out their emotions.

In the recent teaser, Jin Young and Go Eun intensify their romantic tension and show raw emotions in their performance. They perfectly made the audience sense the heart-fluttering feelings of falling in love.

Kim Go Eun’s portrayal in the series prequel made viewers resonate with her character more. Despite showing neutral expression, Yumi’s cells adorably express her emotions.

Similar to the beat of drums, Go Eun’s heart beats loudly and deeply when being around and talking to Jin Young.

On the other hand, Park Jin Young speaks his emotions through his eyes that melt the hearts of everyone. Through his gestures shown in the teaser, he will surely captivate and wake Go Eun’s broken heart.

Furthermore, his simple words — “Can I start now?” and “Date” — greatly flutter Yumi’s cells. The production team of Yumi’s Cells 2 will creatively illustrate the character’s emotions through their cells, with each having their own voice and personality.

Yumi’s Cells 2 will start melting hearts on June 10 at 9:50 PM!
