New stills of Kim Sejeong and Nam Yoon Su of Today’s Webtoon capture their growing chemistry on-screen as new webtoon editors.
The lead characters of Today’s Webtoon, On Ma-eum (Kim Sejeong) and Goo Jun-yeong (Nam Yoon Su), enter the world of webcomics as they join the Neon Webtoon Editorial Department.
Surprisingly, the two who work in a busy and fast-paced environment face the same challenges but have different approaches to handling complex situations. It is because of their contrasting backgrounds, characteristics, values, personality, and motives for entering the industry.

Character’s Distinction: Ma-eum vs. Goo Jun-yeong
Ma-eum was once an athlete but gave up being an Olympic gold medalist to be an editor. Growing up, she also experienced working various part-time jobs.
Meanwhile, Goo Jun-yeong was born with a prestigious status who is smart, privileged, and likes to be organized all the time.
In addition, Ma-eum always considers the editorial department her fantasy space.
On the other hand, Jun-yeong sees it as an escape to get to the core department of the company.
Talking about their MBTI personalities, Ma-eum is ENFJ, an idealist who always leads her colleagues with a positive attitude. She has great camaraderie and knows how to work well with others.
Whereas, Jun-yeong is ISTJ, a realist with a good sense of reality and logic. Despite becoming an honor student his entire life, he lacks motivation and is treated as an inferior in the department because he lacks knowledge about comics.
They both work under Seok Ji-hyung (Choi Daniel), the deputy editor-in-chief who always supports the editors. He is inverted but also tends to be an extrovert, so he tries to understand and express his inner self more carefully. He is a professional editor, but sometimes he cannot also hide his clumsiness.
Kim Sejeong and Nam Yoon Su On Building Great Chemistry
In the recently released photos, On Ma-eum helps the struggling Goo Jun-yeong to hold a large signboard. She also helped him carry a box on their way to enter the elevator.
Viewers can notice how Ma-eum easily handles these situations while Goo Jun-yeoung struggles to overcome these somehow.
Filming the series, Kim Sejeong shares her take on the differences her character has from Nam Yoon Su’s. She also expresses her adoration for Yoon Soo.
“They are so different that I think the viewers will find it really cute. When I see Nam Yoon Su with me too, I find myself smiling without realizing it.”
Meanwhile, Nam Yoon Su scores his chemistry with Kim Sejong. He wants to make it higher as they continue filming the awaited webcomic drama.
“So far, I want to give only 70 points for the chemistry between us two. There is a lot of chemistry left to fill in the future, so I want to leave the remaining 30 points until the end of the work.”
Both enjoy working together, which makes the audience look forward to the series. With this, viewers can anticipate seeing more of their adorable tandem in the future.
