Forget detention, Netflix is serving up a full-blown revolution with True Lessons!

Imagine a squad of righteous avengers, the Educational Rights Protection Bureau, ditching the textbooks and diving headfirst into the chaotic jungle of schools. They’re not just handing out demerits; they’re delivering “true lessons” – a potent cocktail of justice and catharsis for students, teachers, and parents who’ve decided the rulebook is just a suggestion.

This isn’t your average after-school special. Director Hong Jong-chan, fresh from his gritty masterpiece Juvenile Justice, is teaming up with the brilliant mind behind Daily Dose of Sunshine, writer Lee Nam-kyu, to whip up a series that’s as sharp as a freshly sharpened pencil. Kim Moo Yul and Lee Sung Min bring weighty performances to True Lessons (WT), reuniting with Director Hong after their successful collaboration on Juvenile Justice.

Kim Moo Yul (Sweet Home) portrays Na Hwa-jin, a unique agent at the Educational Rights Protection Bureau tackling school issues in his distinctive manner.

Lee Sung Min (Reborn Rich) assumes the role of Choi Gang-seok, the Minister of Education and architect of the Educational Rights Protection Bureau.

He expressed his anticipation, stating, “I was deeply impressed by writer Lee Nam-kyu’s previous works. Reuniting with Director Hong Jong-chan after Juvenile Justice, I have full confidence and am thrilled to collaborate with exceptional actors. Together, we aim to deliver a stellar series.”

Jin Ki Joo (My Perfect Stranger, Undercover High School) showcases a new facet as Im Han-rim, a former special forces officer now serving as a special agent at the Educational Rights Protection Bureau.
