Hwang Chan Sung looks rich and dapper in his teasers for True To Love.
True To Love is a romantic comedy between a man and a woman with opposing beliefs when it comes to dating.
The series depicts the contrasting views about dating by love coach Deborah (Yoo In Na), who says dating requires strategy, and Lee Soo-hyuk (Yoon Hyun Min), a publishing planner who says dating is sincerity. Interestingly, they will work together to create a book about love.
Director Lee Tae Gon helms the production with writer A Kyung and director Seo Min Jung joining him in the creative team.
Director Lee is known for dramas Mad For Each Other, Hello My Twenties 1 and 2 and This Is My Love to name a few. Rounding up the main cast are actors Hwang Chan Sung and Park So Jin.
Hwang Chan Sung as Noh Joo-wan
In the drama, Hwang Chan Sung plays Noh Joo-wan, the owner of a famous chicken franchise and the lover of Deborah.
The photos unveiled show Joo-wan’s warm visuals. His relaxed smile and manly aura reveal his side as a romantic.
On the other hand, his sad expression as he looks somewhere is also captured raising curiosity.
Noh Joo-wan grew up in a wealthy family. He has a strong desire to be recognized and dreams of becoming a self-made artist.
Dating Deborah made them a couple that everyone envies. But at some point, they begin to walk different dreams and start to drift apart.
Revealing the reason for joining True To Love, Hwang shared the script was engrossing.
“It is a work in which pleasant and realistic love quotes that evoke empathy are poured out. “The stories of various realistic couples came to me with a special charm.“
He also gives a peek at his character.
“Noh Joo-wan is a character who seems to have no angular corners from being born wealthy. But he is a bit selfish when it comes to dating.“
True To Love premieres on April 12 on ENA. International fans can watch it on Prime Video.
