Disney+ has confirmed the release of Vigilante, which is gathering expectations with an intense meeting of reliable actors.
Vigilante tells the story of Kim Ji-yong, a model police academy student who protects the law during the day, but at night, he lives as a vigilante who directly judges criminals who evade the law.
It is based on the popular Naver webtoon of the same name with 370 million global cumulative views and became a topic from the production stage
Challenging a dark hero role, Nam Joo Hyuk takes the center stage as Kim Ji-yong in the drama.
The actor who has captured different vibrant and emotional youth images through films Remember, Josée and The Great Battle; and dramas Start-Up and Twenty Five Twenty One foretells an intense acting transformation.
Meanwhile, Yoo Ji Tae portrays the role of Jo Heon, the head of the investigative team pursuing “vigilante”. The renowned seasoned actor has consistently proven his colorful acting range with various characters beyond genres such as the movies Oldboy, The Swindler, and Money; and the drama The Good Wife and When My Love Blooms.
Taking the role of Jo Kang-ok, the helper of “vigilante” is Lee Joon Hyuk. Known for maximizing the charm of the roles he played before, he worked on Stranger, Designated Survivor: 60 Days, 365: Repeat the Year and more.

Lastly, Kim So Jin plays the role of Choi Mi-ryeo, a broadcast journalist who first introduced “vigilante” to the world.

Vigilante is scheduled to be released through Disney+ in the second half of 2023.
