Meeting your first love in the craziest possible way sums up the story of You Raise Me Up.
Starring Yoon Shi Yoon and Ahn Hee Yeon, it narrates the story of a man in his 30’s named Do Yong-sik who reunites with his first love, Luda, who becomes his urologist.
Taking the role of Yong-sik, a 31-year-old civil servant test preparation student is Yoon Shi Yoon. After preparing for the civil service exam, only his belly fat hinders his goal. So, he was forced to receive urology treatment only to be frustrated by meeting his first love as his doctor.
The key point of watching this drama is whether he can build up his broken self-esteem which stems from his erectile dysfunction. Previously, Wavve also released intriguing teaser photos preluding an unconventional love story.
An Awkward First Love Reunion
In the released character posters, the lead pairing don shocked faces expressing the most unlikely years-later meeting as former lovers.
Yong-sik appears to be thinking inwardly of his image to their unexpected reunion and wants to hide at once. Meanwhile, Luda feels awkward as her first love memories come rushing back meeting as her patient.
It does not help her relationship with Do Ji-hyuk (Park Ki Woong), a psychologist with perfect specs who proudly flaunts his superb image whenever he can.
But she is determined to show off her skills and properly bring back her ex-boyfriend’s depleting confidence.
Inevitably, the treatment process will not be smooth, but it is expected that the trio will decorate a sexy and lively story as protagonists of their lives.
