Business Proposal Episode 8 Key Moments
“Then let me take care of you for the rest of your life, as a man to a woman.”
Refusing to acknowledge Kang Tae-mu’s affections once more, Shin Ha-ri dodges his calls and deliberately avoids his presence.
Meeting with Ha-ri in private, Tae-mu discusses with her how she might take responsibility for the kiss and repay him.
For Shin Ha-ri’s payment, Mr. Kang wishes for her to buy him an expensive dinner. Unsure how a commoner like her could do such a thing, Ha-ri claims the kiss was initiated by two people and that she is not the only one at fault.
By reminding her of his feelings for her, Tae-mu implores Ha-ri to allow him to care for her for the rest of her life like a man would do for a woman.
Giving her another option, Tae-mu subsequently informs her that he prefers to pay people back with exactly what he received from them. Indicating an eye for an eye, he wants Ha-ri to pay him back with a kiss.
“It’s fine. Spend just your time on me. I’ll spend the money.”
Calling Shin Ha-ri on a weekend, Tae-mu wants her to spend the day with him as her payment.
Reminding Ha-ri of what she told him, that he shouldn’t make a commoner pay for expensive meals, he assures her that he will buy her time instead.
On their second date, Ha-ri and Tae-mu enjoy different rides in the amusement park, including bump cars and a carousel.
After Ha-ri encourages him to buy him a meal since she’s hungry, Tae-mu insists on her not spending her money and wants her to focus entirely on him.
Refusing the idea that he is the only one who spends on their date, Shin Ha-ri treats Tae-mu to anything he wants to eat.
Looking back on how corn dogs tasted when he was seven, Tae-mu shares a fond memory with Ha-ri of his parents. Correspondingly, Ha-ri assumes that Tae-mu must have been really happy back then. She then informs him that when someone eats food they have had in the past, they tend to remember all of the happy memories associated with it.
Receiving a call from her family, their date is cut short as Ha-ri rushes to the hospital, discovering both of her parents are there.
“From now on, I’m not going to care about what other people think, and just think about the two of us.”
Following the incident where she confronted Min-woo, Ha-ri attends the research team’s field day, not minding why Tae-mu hasn’t replied to her message from yesterday.
Upon joining the games which spiced up even more considering the one who can win it can have the opportunity to have a dinner date exclusively with President Kang. Ha-ri is consequently determined to win the dodge ball despite her injured hand.
With Ha-ri as the last player standing, she eventually wins as she can’t stand someone else having a date with Tae-mu. Afterwards, the whole team goes on a dinner date, but then Ha-ri discovers that Mr. Kang wasn’t able to join them since he had a blind date to attend to.
Driven by jealousy, Ha-ri cannot bear to think of Tae-mu going on a blind date with another woman. She then promptly informs Tae-mu that from now on, she’s not going to care about what other people think, and just think about the two of them.
Learning that Tae-mu wasn’t on the blind date but is currently in front of their house waiting for her, Ha-ri immediately goes to where Tae-mu and she would meet each other.
Business Proposal Episode 8 Musings
With an abundance of sweetness in the most recent episode, Business Proposal undoubtedly makes our hearts flutter for constantly flaunting the romantic moments between the two lead couples. Indeed, the ship is sailing not only for Young-seo and Sung Hoon, but also for Ha-ri and Tae-mu.
This is because Ha-ri shows bravery by disregarding what others might say about her dating Kang Tae-mu. She clearly crosses the line when she chooses to stay with Tae-mu and her affections for him over the criticisms.
Ha-ri also confronted Min-woo regarding how she would manage even without him. It implies that she is tossing the last seven years of her long-term crush on him at a time when it is too late for him, as he only recently realized his feelings for Shin Ha-ri.
Moreover, Sung Hoon and Young-seo’s beginning of their relationship illustrates how relationships work in real life. It shows that even when there is a little misunderstanding, with the assistance of communicating and being open with your partner, a relationship will eventually work out.
Notably, we are consistently amazed at how committed Tae-mu is to pursuing Shin Ha-ri. Showing how he genuinely wanted to be in a relationship with her, and even considering the possibility of being with Ha-ri, with a future in mind. This only adds to our admiration for Kang Tae-mu.
Above all, with four episodes remaining, we can’t wait to witness how the love pairing blossoms as they go on their journey as a real couple.
