Navigating their newfound love, Haeng-seon and Chi-yeol confront a misunderstanding but patch up right away in the 12th episode of Crash Course In Romance!
Initially erasing her bad impression of Dong-hee, Haeng-seon meets a baffling incident cementing she was right about her intuition.
Sun-jae also worries about his brother who was apprehended by the police. During his trying times, Hae-yi is there to comfort him.

Crash Course In Romance Episode 12 Highlights
Previously, while Chi-yeol and Haeng-seon are in a slight argument about Dong-hee, they almost bump Hui-jae who was running away from the police.
Apprehended by the police, Sun-jae makes a futile attempt to help his brother. Unfortunately, Su-a’s mom was also there and spread the news right away.
Learning about what she feared most to happen, Sun-jae’s mother rushes to the police station and brings medical documents to plead insanity. She also goes back to check on her youngest son who missed school out of worry about his hyung.
“They say a man can’t be reached when he’s imprisoned, mourning, or uninterested in you.”
After the incident with Hui-jae; Haeng-seon and Chi-yeol went into lukewarm interaction. Unable to focus on why she’s not hearing anything from her boyfriend who is apparently busy with a scheduled photoshoot; Haeng-seon listens to Yeong-ju and Jae-woo tease her about their obvious fight.
In the end, assertive Haeng-seon sent a message to check on Chi-yeol. But Dong-hee deletes it right away. He also insists on driving him home and reminds him of his jampacked schedule the next day.
Noticing Dong-hee’s warm smile, Chi-yeol asked if there was something that happened between him and Haeng-seon. Surprised at his question, he pretends nothing’s wrong nonchalantly and agrees to Chi-yeol’s advice to smile more.
Dong-hee comments how he must have liked Haeng-son and Chi-yeol responds how he’s at peace when he’s with her.
Seeing no message from Haeng-seon, Chi-yeol decides to camp and wait for her morning grocery shopping. They make amend while sipping cups of coffee.
Chi-yeol got the idea to have a date with Haeng-seon who mentioned wanting to go to the sea. After his scheduled talk, they set forth on a yacht ride with Dong-hee steering the vessel.
Haeng-seon who is being treated nicely by Dong-hee tells Chi-yeol how she might’ve got the wrong idea about him, but his off-camera expressions say otherwise. He even swerves the yacht to make her fall and get a slight hand injury.
“I’m kidnapping you to my house. You’re worrying me too much.”
Bothered by her thoughts that Dong-hee might have intentionally hurt her, Haeng-seon ignores it thinking she might be acting oversensitive again.
Instead of dropping his girlfriend off at her house, Chi-yeol decides to bring her to his place and asks her to stay the night.
The next day, Sun-jae and Hae-yi realize something odd in the reading exam they had. It’s exactly the practice papers given by Sun-jae’s mom which he also shared with Hae-yi.
Hui-jae who is on trial finally confessed that he did not commit the murder but witnessed it.
Unknown to Haeng-seon, from afar, Dong-hee is positioning himself to bring her harm.
Crash Course In Romance Episode 12 Musings
Delighting viewers with their middle-aged romance, Haeng-seon and Chi-yeol has another hurdle to overcome now that the villain is not hiding anymore.
It won’t be long before Dong-hee’s true nature will be seen through, especially since his volatility is hitting high levels owing to a change in his routine with Chi-yeol because of his newfound romance.
His obsession with Chi-yeol is yet to be explained. On that note, his mercurial temperament also does not guarantee that his faithfulness to Chi-yeol can make the latter safe.
Hae-yi is accidentally roped into Sun-jae’s mom’s manipulation to better her son’s score. Her upright nature surely will bear the guilt, and as seen in the next episode preview, it expectedly took a toll on her.
Can Chi-yeol protect Haeng-seon against his reliable two-faced assistant? Will Hui-jae’s confession aid in capturing the true culprit of the recent murders?
