Kim Sae-ha proceeds with his dangerous mission in Grid and finds an ally with Jung Sae-byeok.
However, Sae-byeok earns the ire of the Administration Bureau. It is also revealed that she is Eo-jin’s ex-wife. The latest episodes also raise the question as to why the “ghost” killed Sae-ha’s adopted father. Along with that, Sae-ha’s ulterior motive is beginning to shape up to a more concrete picture.

Grid Episodes 3 & 4 Key Moments
Proceeding to Director Choi’s order of finding the connection between the “ghost” and Kim Ma-nok; the employees assigned weren’t able to find any clue.
Meanwhile, Sae-ha was able to retrieve information about the “ghost” that was locked by Director Choi. Through the help of Sae-byeok, he uses a biometric cheat using the director’s fingerprints. He also hacks the system to erase the CCTV trail of his actions.
Showing the oddity of the “ghost” who seems to be traveling into time and space, Sae-ha and Sae-byeok are baffled as to what made her help a murderer.
It also does not add up to why the ghost helped upfront when she could have warned Ma-nok through time-traveling.
Chasing after Ma-nok, the police loses him as the “ghost’ meddles with time to help him escape. Later, Ma-nok finds a metal cutter that he used to escape from being captive by the ghost.
Rushing to the restaurant, Sae-byeok was stopped by the elite force team tasked to work on the project. Fortunately, the old ajumma was safe but a member of the elite team was harmed by the same weapon the “ghost” used on Sae-byeok.
Drawing the line that she cannot cross, Sae-byeok was ordered to be transferred to a new station. Contention between the Grid Team and Administrative Bureau ensues, with a pending decision from the highest director on how to proceed.
It was also unveiled that Director Choi was there when Sae-ha’s father’s died. She also tried to look for Sae-ha who changed his name from Lee Si-woo.
After learning that her mom’s caregiver can’t extend her time, Sae-ha was advised that someone from the nursing center will fill in. He arrives at the house and politely sends the caregiver – who is actually the “ghost”.
Grid Episodes 3 & 4 Musings
We got another slew of questions that are yet to be answered in Grid. Consistency-wise, the series unravels key details in the series unhurriedly. Albeit piquing interest, for impatient viewers, it might not lock attention.
By now, the story is shaping to be something that is good to watch when all the episodes are out. But I will keep you posted if the slow start is just preparing for an impressive surge.
Nevertheless, the intrigue meagerly given so far can still sustain the drive to see the end of each character’s motivation and how it will make sense in the narrative.
Additionally, the connections of the “ghost” to Sae-ha and Ma-nok spurs an enigma worth chasing.
Likewise, hoping for the story of Sae-byeok and Eo-jin to progress again is something to root for.
