Grid Episodes 5 & 6 Key Moments

Banking on the ghost’s recent apparitions, the Administration Bureau proposed luring it in by putting her on APB with Manok at a big amount of bounty.

Meanwhile, Sae-byeok shares with Sae-ha her conclusion of how the “ghost” can’t teleport with someone. From there, she begins to track Manok at the last place he was sighted which is the subway station.

Her hunch yields a favorable result leading to her capture of Manok. However, she missed the “ghost” whom she actually bumped with.

Learning about Manok’s arrest, Deputy Director Choi, Sae-ha and Eo-jin head to the station. Sae-byeok, who refuses to hand her catch to them, was brought to join the party.

“Time does not flow.”

The director of the Administration Bureau instructed the head of security to take it down just as the Secretariat team arrived. In a split second, the ghost appears and the elite police on standby shoot the phantom.

Unfortunately, Deputy Director Choi was also shot and dies on the spot. When the ghost was brought to be subdued, a chip was found in her arm. But, its technology is yet to be figured out.

AB Director Jo asks Eo-jin to jab the ghost for fast information they can get which the Prime Minister required. Despite that, he only got the information that she came from the year 2091.

Shedding light on how she can teleport, she relays cryptic words that “time does not flow”.

Meanwhile, Sae-ha goes to liberate Sae-byeok who already knew his identity. She urges him to not proceed with his plans. But he is adamant to achieve the fruit of his long-running vengeance ploy.

Just then, he receives a text message of a video showing the “ghost” inside his mother’s room. She didn’t think twice about wanting to inject something into his mother. After the video got cut off, he hurries to go to where the ghost is.

Grid Episodes 5 & 6 Musings

All the vagueness in the last four episodes was equalized by the thrilling events in the 5th and 6th episodes of Grid. Just like that, the series has convinced viewers not to give up, to be honest.

As we cross the middle mark of the story, we expect some clarity and motivation to look forward to its conclusion. Seo Kang Joon successfully makes an impressive pitch.

We know how the narrative has been frugal in disclosing its details. Slowly but surely, the connections are shaping up to a fascinating stride.

Still, the story is 90% far from unlocking the enigmatic character of the “ghost”. Along with unearthing her mystery is uncovering her connection to Sae-ha and Ma-nok.

What’s motivating to the unpredictable flow of Grid is its mercurial characters like Eo-jin. Adding to that, it consistently fires bewildering cliffhangers that drive theories from viewers.

Like if the ghost captured is just a decoy since hey if she came from 2091, we can only imagine how far the technology has evolved then? There’s also something cryptic on the way she stares at Eo-jin that I can make a bet they could be related somehow.

But since the urgent problem raised is Sae-ha going unrestrained because of her mom, let’s leave our numerous questions and theories on a parking lot, in the meantime.

Can Sae-ha save his mom by going against the fierce force of the Administration Bureau?

Get back to Grid now as the story is picking up its thrilling pace down the last four episodes!
