Dear Lonely Enough To Love, why are you only airing once a week?
MBC every1’s new series continues ita engrossing appeal on its second episode.
Taking the romance story concept of people living in a “share house”, Lonely Enough To Love is a delightful treat especially for single career people.

Lonely Enough To Love Episode 2 Peak Points
Happy Together Housemates
Last episode, the other housemates living at Happy Together failed to attend Na Eun’s welcome party. They finally meet on the breakfast table.
Kyeong Won (Han Ji Wan) and Bo Ra (Ha Young) are the beautiful belles in the share house. They have great synergy and sworn sisters who got each other back.
Jung Hoon (Gong Chan), an elite bodyguard by profession previously encountered Na Eun as he pointed her out to where the share house is when she was looking for it.
Bo Ra has been vocally expressing she likes Jung Hoon, but the latter remains unfazed to cross the romance line.
Dong Seok, the owner of the share house, carries on with his kind attitude towards Na Eun. His marriage status is also revealed to be in the middle of the divorce and has an adorable son.
Na Eun’s Friendship circle
Having a bleak career, Na Eun is blessed to have amazing friends. Hyun Jin (Park Geon Il), Ah Reum (Son Ji Hyun) and Ji Ah (Cha Soo Yeon) have been introduced in the first episode.
Na Eun shared her encounter to a psycho whom she met again at Hyun Jin’s share house. Truly supportive of her lackluster romance, the girls keep on coaxing her about Dong Seok’s too good to be true kindness.
Meanwhile, Hyun Jin breaks up with his girlfriend who was not happy to learn that his friend Na Eun currently stays in his place.
Passionate Psychiatrist Kang Woo
Committed to his profession, psychiatrist Kang Woo often feels emotional burden when his patients are too stubborn to treat. That has been the case for one of his patients (Shin So Yul cameo) who gave him a hard time in the first episode.
Luckily, the table was turned, and she let the genuine care of Kang Woo overwhelm her so she can let go of her emotional baggage.
When not taking care of patients, Kang Woo has been revealed to be a music lover. His quick concert in episode 2 gave a healing music spectacle to Na Eun.
Na Eun’s Mistake
Bumping with the woman she thought to be Kang Woo’s girlfriend, Na Eun finally learns that she is a patient and Kang Woo is a psychiatrist.
After writing about her experiences in the share house, she gets a cheering up feedback from a person with Happy Together ID. She was also asked who intrigued her the most living in the share house.
Knowing she misunderstood Kang Woo, evidently her next move is to apologize, so she knocks on his door but there was no response.
When she was about to leave, the door opens with Kang Woo wearing a Happy Together shirt. Just then, Hyun Jin also appeared wearing the same shirt. It reminds and confuses Na Eun who is curious of who among the housemates sent her very first feedback.
Lonely Enough To Love Episode 2 Musings
Really enjoying this new series probably because it has been trimmed nicely excluding unnecessary fillers.
Na Eun receiving a feedback from her work drew a subtle nudge related to career building. Of how much you would go to even when luck and opportunities seem not agreeing to the kind of job you want to aspire.
Kim So Eun’s character not only relates to single people trying to create their niche in the society, she is also a reminder of how a once successful man share the same passion as she has. Na Eun being the focal character of the story, slowly shapes her imaginary world to a trove of life lessons that are soothing.
With projected love polygon coming up, Lonely Enough To Love also featured a set of vibrant characters with interesting side stories that are left to be unboxed in the succeeding episodes. That propels a wide space for the narrative to progress.
Friendship and love stories incorporated in the lives of 20’s-30’s people have not been explored much in K-Dramaland. But, it is a theme that I have enjoyed immensely credit to I Need Romance and Reply 1988 series as well as Hospital Playlist.
Love is looking to blossom in Na Eun’s life. Whether it will be adorable and complicated, I’m gonna sign up to cheer for her in claiming her novelist dream and the love she rightfully deserves.
Episode 2 Takeaway Quotes
“Everyone lives with a wound. After all, life is all about hurting each other without knowing it, whether it may be big or small. A world you can avoid getting hurt doesn’t exist. You just wait until your wound doesn’t hurt. If your wound festers and doesn’t heal, it’s not because it’s a deep wound. It’s because no one is taking care of your wound.” – Na Eun
