Marry My Husband Episode 8 Highlights
Ji-won asserts executing her plans without Ji-hyuk’s help despite his confession that her father gave him a second chance in life. He still has not admitted his connection with her yet though.
Beating Su-min and Min-hwan to the flag situated in the nearby stream, Ji-won tries to take care of it in case someone steals it. Unknown to her, Su-min is brewing a plan to get her flag. She successfully gets it but Ji-won retrieves it right away securing the camper van for her prize.
“What scares me most is living the same life as before with this second chance.”
She knows that Su-min and Min-hwan will sleep together that night if she makes her get flag #4. True to her deduction, the two sleep together. But instead of being closer, she underestimates Min-hwan’s leech attitude. After sleeping with Su-min, he tells her they should lay low so as not to complicate things.
This did not sit well with Su-min who just had a confrontation with Ji-won who revealed she could not be her other half anymore. Knowing how to play her cards well, Su-min threw a seduction ploy directed at Min-hwan.
Meanwhile, Ji-won reunites with the tabby cat she took care of when she was at the university. It was saved by Ji-hyuk who even incurred an injury when he blocked a car about to bump into it.
When Min-hyun loses money, Ji-won prepares for her next move. She accepts Min-hwan’s marriage proposal so that Su-min can make her move to marry her husband.

Marry My Husband keeps its engrossing vibe as viewers are treated to how Ji-won navigates her second life with accumulated knowledge from the future.
Adding to the interesting twist of the story is Su-min’s volatility and Min-hwan’s slyness. When combined, it could be challenging for Ji-won. Hopefully, she realizes Ji-hyuk’s genuine intention to help. Because she might need it.
We really have to give credit to Su-min for making her character worth despising and layering the story with addicting tension.
We don’t know why Min-hwan’s wedding proposal changed to something grand. But it adds fuel to Su-min’s evil goal to steal Min-hwan. Did she tell Min-hwan about Ji-won’s growing stock investment already?
