Marry My Husband

Marry My Husband Episode 6 Highlights

Ji-won rushes Ji-hyuk to the hospital whose fainting apparently is caused by a combination of stress, unhealthy diet, and lack of sleep.

Simultaneously, Min-hwan is unaware that Su-min intends to seduce him but pretends she worries about Ji-won.

Again Ji-hyuk confesses his feelings to Ji-won before they part ways in the hospital. He reassures her that he is a good person. Drawing the boundary once more, he tells her to make her boyfriend treat her nicely and carefully.

“Not everyone becomes an adult with age. Or becomes a man. Women are unhappy when they date a boy instead of a man.”

The next day, Ji-hyuk reminds Min-hyun why workplace romance is supposed to be forbidden. He also made him promise to not hurt Ji-won again.

Suspecting something has happened between Su-min and Min-hyun, Ji-won’s instinct is on the right track. Su-min has started faintly seducing Min-hwan. Invited to lunch by the department manager, Ji-won seems to be on the brink of being robbed with her lunchbox idea.

Armed with the physical lesson and new mantra gained from her recent judo lesson with Ji-hyuk, Ji-won moves with her plan by using her knowledge of a director who would be involved in a viral video. The director is related to the evil assistant manager.

The idea robbed from her eventually backfired causing the director’s dismissal which had negative effect on the assistant manager and Su-min who was supposed to be regularized from the project.

Celebrating her feat on the office rooftop, Ji-hyuk approached her and noticed she was listening to BTS. Casually talking about the future K-Pop icons and the songs they love which were yet to be released, the two realize they have something in common.

Marry My Husband

Marry My Husband Episode 6 Musings

The main leads of Marry My Husband are doing a great job of breathing life into their characters. Ji-won and Ji-hyuk both have dynamic characters with individual motivations. At some point, their destined connection down from when they were young would again converge to possibly be each other’s helper in their ultimate missions.

Meanwhile, Su-min and Min-hyuk are also drawn efficiently by Lee Yi Kyung and Song Ha Yoon. Both actors venture into roles that deviate from their previous ones. But they are owning it as fantastic as the lead stars Park Min Young and Na In Woo.

We didn’t expect the two would know they were both living their second lives as early as 3rd week. This game-changing knowledge makes the flow of the story more interesting. Now, they can help each other with their planned end games.

We foresee Ji-won pushing her cheating boyfriend and best friend now that she picked on the change in their relationship. On the other hand, we can anticipate the unearthing of Ji-hyuk’s death in the future since he was still alive when Ji-won died.

Are their deaths connected, too?

Root for Ji-won’s second chance at life in Marry My Husband. International fans can watch it on Prime Video.
