Having second thoughts about an unfair share of money, Ro Seo carefully considers accepting another offer permanently in the 8th episode of Moonshine.
Delivering successfully the first half of liquor to Un Sim, Ro Seo was in a predicament as to whether the 300 nyang share of the team was fair. Meanwhile, Nam Young establishes contact with the leader of the iced wood storage, the location of the brewing, and the sale of liquor. But he instantly got away.

Moonshine Episode 8 Key Moments
“But there is one thing that I can say from the bottom of my heart. Congratulations on your marriage.”
Reading the letter, which he assumes is from Ro Seo but is actually from Ae Jin, the Prince proceeds to the location where he and Ae Jin are meant to meet.
On the other hand, Ae Jin bribes Ro Seo with ample of her father’s seal stamps to stall Nam Young for a moment since she will meet with the Prince.
Visiting the Saheonbu, Ro Seo requests a private meeting with Nam Young. When they finally find a place where they can speak freely, Ro Seo reveals to him that the letter she handed him the last time was really from Ae Jin, which relives Nam Young.
Apologizing for all she is unable to say, Nam Young thinks that her apology seems as though she was wishing him farewell.
Bringing up the lies she told Nam Young, Ro Seo informs him that there is one thing she can truly express. With her trembling voice, she extends her heartfelt congratulations to Nam Young on his marriage.
“At least, I will be able to see the killer’s face.”
Interrogating the Police Chief, Nam Young continues to investigate in order to apprehend the owner of the iced wood storage.
Giving him a warning, the man he interrogates informs him that Nam Young is merely digging out his own grave. Whereas, Nam Young responds that he will at the very least be able to see the killer’s face.
When he arrives at the Tributary Guild, Nam Young only meets Sim Heon and the Commanding Inspector. Providing him with the ledger shows that there is nothing wrong with the construction of the Police Chief’s villa.
Still determined that Nam Young should resolve the problem on his own, the Commanding officer gives him strict instructions to leave it because he has already caused him so much difficulty.
Following that, Nam Young senses there is something wrong since the Police Chief has been forced to remain at his house until the King reinstates him.
He arrives at the Police Chief‘s residence too late, having witnessed the Police Chief‘s demise. However, a man suddenly appeared and dragged Nam Young away.
“A bad daughter like this one deserves to die.”
At the Chief of Secretary’s residence, someone reported the disappearance of two wagons and presented two permits bearing the Ministry of War’s seal but written in different handwriting. They deduce that weapons were smuggled into the Capital.
The next day, the Ministry of War receives a report of a lost weapon for which he is being held accountable. As a result of this, Ae Jin finds that her father is in trouble, which implies that she and Ro Seo will also be in trouble, as they were the ones who stole and smuggled the two wagons.
Ae Jin hurries to go to find her father. Upon seeing Ro Seo and her friend at the gate, Ae Jin behaves as a sick daughter and apologizes to her father in order to buy Ro Seo time to pass through the gate promptly.
Because Ae Jin’s acting was effective, Ro Seo successfully sneaks the two carts of liquor past the gate.
Moonshine Episode 8 Musings
Given that there is a perpetual conflict between greed and power in the palace, we can now see how manipulative the Chief Royal Secretary to the King is in Moonshine episode 8.
This is unsettling because we are unsure if the influence he demonstrates is for the kingdom’s welfare or for his own advantage. We have witnessed that the King pays attention to every word he speaks. He disregards the ideas of his people and just follows what the Chief Royal Secretary says.
Moreover, Ro Seo is unaware that her brother accepted a job with Sim Heon, the menacing leader of the iced wood storage. Totally ignorant that her brother has placed Ro Seo in jeopardy once more, which is why we are concerned for Ro Seo and her brother’s safety.
Additionally, in this chapter, it is clear that everyone, except for Nam Young and Ro Seo, recognizes their affection for one another, even the viewers. They are just somewhat blind to the fact that they actually cherish each other. Even Ae Jin and the prince are aware of their true feelings.
To our surprise, Ae Jin bears no resentment against Ro Seo. Learning that the prince rejects her because he has affection for her, despite that she has feelings for Nam Young. She even assisted Ro Seo in acquiring some time to get through the gate.
However, since Sim Heon kidnapped Nam Young, it is unexpected to see who rescues him from bondage. Pushing the wagon towards Sim Heon, Ro Seo, and Nam Young were able to escape from them.
