My Demon Episode 13 Highlights
The aftermath of Do-kyung’s death seems a regular day for his father who wants to focus on removing traces of her mother in the company she built.
Determined to achieve a happy ending, Gu-won goes on a mission to get his second chance with Do-hee to avoid misfortune.
With his powers back and with a clear goal, he pours his effort to a new goal. However, things are not as easy as it seems.
Throwing a surprise for his wife Gu-won serves a home-cooked meal before they go to work. On their way to work though, Do-hee spaced out seeing an ambulance. He calls Suk-hoon knowing he knows Do-hee best.
Suk-hoon shares how Do-hee has lived her life in a way that she feels guilty about being happy and blaming herself for her parents’ death.
“Happiness has no meaning without misfortune.”
Doing his best to ease Do-hee’s woes, Gu-won gifts a dream to her parents and Madam Ju.
He also gives her a bouquet of different flowers symbolizing happiness.
Do-hee agrees to come to a family dinner initiated by Noh Suk min. It turns out he wants the family to give their shares because he wants to solidify his position.
Do-hee and Suk-hoon say no and leave the dinner. Suk-min retaliates quickly by removing Suk-hoon from the board of directors.
Learning what happened, Do-hee rushes to see Suk-min who is bent on his business decision. Do-hee also realizes that he is Abraxas and the true killer of Madam Ju.
Suk-min also tells Do-hee that his mother killed her parents and plays a recording about the elders’ disagreement during the early years of the company. Not wanting to believe his story, Suk-min nonchalantly chokes her.
At the same time, Gu-won visits Suk-min’s wife and offers a ticket out of the hellish life she has. She confesses to the truth that her husband killed his mother and son.
