One Dollar Lawyer Episodes 8 Highlights
The last two episodes of One Dollar Lawyer reveal Ji-hun’s formidable prosecutor life. Unfortunately, in one of his cases, the justice he persistently pursues leads to his father’s demise.
Further, it results in him being chided by the higher-ups and ostracized by fellow prosecutors at work. Still, he relentlessly worked on uncovering the clues about his father’s death.
Unfortunately, Ji-hun was unable to uncover the person his father last spoke with when he found his lifeless body.

During Ji-hun’s loneliest time, Joo-young stayed by his side. Declining CEO Baek’s offer to become the law firm’s partner, she decides to open a law office which eventually became Ji-hun’s current law office.
Sharing her grand plan of helping anyone she wants to defend, Joo-young mapped out her freedom plan including the reality of her life having less money. She also hopes that like how his smile warmed her heart, she hopes that he will be not too caught up in the past and bring his warmth to other people.
Deciding to have a future with Joo-young, he proposes marriage. However, on the day that she left Baek Law Firm, her business registration document gets mixed up when she bumped into a stranger. The document of the stranger reveals the details about Ji-hun’s father’s death.
Intending to bring it to Ji-hun, she, unfortunately, was fatally attacked and was not able to give key evidence that would have helped Ji-hun.

Explaining the transition from a serious to a gregarious personality, Ji-hun took Joo-young’s request to live a warm, happy life as depicted in this episode of One Dollar Lawyer.
We can infer that the end game of the series will unfold the revelations regarding Ji-hun’s father’s death which also links to Joo-young’s demise.
Notably, this chapter also asserts how life would push us to the brink of hopelessness to know the person or people who will stay by our side regardless.
