Strong Girl Nam Soon Episode 3 Highlights
A deeper look at the three generations of strong women in Nam-soon’s family is relayed in episode 3 of Strong Girl Nam Soon. We got a glimpse of the legendary fight of Gil Joong-gan to protect Majang-dong against a gang, three days after giving birth to a child.
Joong-gan who had a police station visit after flipping a man’s car upside down also meets Do Bong-soon (Park Bo Young) and Ahn Min-hyuk (Park Hyung Sik) who were also in police questioning because Bong-soon beat two men for their animal cruelty.
Meanwhile, Geum-ju continues to be kind to Hwa-ja who has invited her friends to the house. She asserts wanting to keep her fake position and her inkling of who Nam-soon is made her ask a Chinese gang to destroy the two Mongolian-style tents she set up at Hangang Park.
Enraged, Nam-soon singlehandedly won over the fight with 20 men but she had to bid goodbye to the vagrant couple. She crashes at Hee-sik’s place.
Earlier, Hee-sik discovers Nam-soon is probably the missing daughter of Hee-ja. He calls her and they agree to a meeting the next day. He also discovers how the drugs were sneaked into Korea through face masks.
The next day, a fire broke out at the place where Nam-soon and Geum-ju will be meeting. Nam-soon braves the fire to rescue the children. Unfortunately, she got hold of an appliance that exploded on her last attempt. Geum-ju who saw from the distance what she had been doing recognized right away that she was her daughter.
Seeing Nam-soon get hit by the blast, Geum-ju jumps to embrace and cushion her fall.
Strong Girl Nam Soon Episode 3 Musings
Excitingly narrated, Strong Girl Nam Soon presents the looming conflicts to be tackled about drugs in the story.
With the heroines having super strength and super riches, it is also good to note how contention was not too lopsided in the story.
Geum-ju’s kindness to Hwa-ja mirrors Nam-soon’s sacrificing nature and we can’t wait to see them contribute their superior abilities to uphold justice.
The narrative also establishes that super-strength abilities are normal and acceptable but it does not mean the women of Nam-soon’s family can escape the law from using it.
Rooting for romance between Nam-soon and Hee-sik is expected. We hope to see more interaction between them. Just as Ryu Si-oh’s grand plan which Geum-ju’s family will be tied up looks exciting.
