Why Her Episode 15 Highlights
“It’s all thanks to me that you can live a decent life now.”
Asked to calm down by his father, Ju-wan gets frustrated with his daughter’s death.
Soo-jae, who stayed for too long in the operating room with her dead daughter, is forced out and transferred to a hospital room to recover.
Meanwhile, Chan becomes aware of Soo-jae’s daughter, Jae-yi through Yoon-sang.
Lawyer Song becomes disappointed to find out that none of the fingerprints they collected matched the DNA found in the weapon.
While Chairman Choi is grieving over the death of his granddaughter, the sons of Assemblyman Lee and Chairman Han worry about their current situations.
Quarreling in front of Chairman Choi, he gets angry at the two, to which their fathers ask their sons to quickly apologize.
Although faced with difficulties with the media, Chairman Choi assures Assemblyman Lee and Chairman Han that they would be able to get over it and wait quietly.
Soo-jae comes to her daughter’s funeral, and Ju-wan angrily blames her for Jae-yi’s death.
“But they say, ‘The deeper the valley, the higher the mountain.’”
At the funeral, Chairman Choi comes across Soo-jae and asks her to still respect the agreement they recently signed.
It has been shown that Han Gi-taek confessed that Park So-young was used to ruin Assemblyman Ahn Kang-won.
Director Baek, who also comes to visit the funeral, realizes that Soo-jae is the mother of Jae-yi. Yoon Se-pil on the phone, finds hope in detecting some DNA from the earrings they found on the garbage bags they found on the wall.
In deep grief, Soo-jae chooses to disappear from everyone and leaves a note.
For the while, Assemblyman Lee and Chairman Han recover from the reports that attacked them and regain ratings.
Ready to hold a disciplinary hearing for Soo-jae, Chairman Choi assigns Lawyer Seo to be the chairperson of the said hearing to persuade other members of the board to disbar Soo-jae.
“We’re looking for the truth. Don’t mock us for that.”
Lawyer Song is caught with her sneaking activities to collect DNA samples. Talking with Chairman Choi, she chooses to take the ballpen the chairman held, and gets out of TK Law firm.
Together with the members of the legal clinic team, Jun-hee finds the clothes Kang Eun-seo wore the day of the incident.
Searching for Soo-jae at the port they visited, Chan sights Soo-jae entering the ocean ready to give up on life. He pulls her out and assures her that none of it was her fault, and that she should never give up.
Director Baek’s bribery case from years ago resurfaces in the media. As he becomes subject to a confirmation hearing, he strikes a deal with Chairman Choi, who will come to testify for him.
“It is a grave sin to mess up other people’s lives. And it is an even graver sin to have no shame or remorse after doing such a thing.”
Coming back with Chan, Soo-jae tells the team that her battle begins now.
In the disciplinary hearing of Soo-jae, her violation during a trial, wherein she compared the DNA of the child illegally, is brought to light.
Moreover, she is cornered by how she treated Park So-young, and her relationship with Assemblyman Ahn was revealed on the screen.
Having those pinned on her, Lawyer Song follows Soo-jae to request a recess, which was then granted.
Meanwhile, during Director Baek’s confirmation hearing, Chairman Choi testifies that the director accepted the bribe.
Opposite to what they agreed to do, Chairman Choi stabs Director Baek after finding out that his daughter is Kang Eun-seo, and that he has been actively connected with Mr. Yoon.
Chairman Choi continues with his statements, saying that the director is deluded into thinking that their sons are suspects in Eun-seo’s incident. Mr. Yoon arrives at the hearing, but it becomes hopeless, as he shows a negative on the analysis.
Worried about breaking off the sell-off, Chairman Han becomes delighted to hear that Hansu could call off the sell-off since the trust was broken by the buyer SP partners, not the seller.
Although saddened by his son’s death, Mr. Ha agrees to take the fall for Chairman Choi if things would not go well.
On the resumption of the hearing, Soo-jae refutes the violations pinned on her, and shows on screen Chairman Choi and Park So-young. She then reveals that the chairman killed Park So-young.
Why Her Episode 15 Musings
Watching the sons of the powerful men, their succession would rather lead to the collapse of the empires they built.
It’s too bad that Director Baek and Mr. Yoon got caught by Chairman Choi even before they were able to expose their crime.
Although Director Baek may have served somehow for the good, his illegal actions in the past come back at him with Chairman Choi turning his back on him during the hearing.
Soo-jae comes back even though she is still in grief. This must have been her motivation to continue her fight for the truth. Lawyer Seo’s ex-wife stood on the right side when she rebutted lawyer Seo’s claims on Soo-jae infringing the rights of the people involved in her violations.
For Director Baek’s hearing, things didn’t go well, but for Soo-jae, there appears to be hope. Their battle after all is not futile, which we should anticipate in the finale.
