From whale stories over lunch, Young-woo excitedly brings along Jun-ho to watch for her favorite whales in the 13th episode of Extraordinary Attorney Woo.
Having a particular penchant for whales, Young-woo (Park Eun Bin) adorably mixed business with pleasure when a chance for her to work on a case leads her to Jeju Island.
Her business trip becomes a spontaneous relaxation trip when her fellow rookie Hanbada lawyers, Jun-ho and their senior, Lawyer Jung, came with her as well. Even her best friend Geu Ra-mi and her boss Min-sik also joined the fun.
Eagerly looking forward to the trip, even whilst waiting for their flight, Young-woo and Jun-ho familiarize themselves with the whale features.
On D-DAY of their whale watching, unfortunately; they were not able to sight any.
The actual beach where they go for whale watching is a bit tricky since it is part of a coastal road stretch. Kang Tae Oh’s tip in the series about Daejeong-eup is spot on since it is a known spot to watch bottlenose dolphins.
According to Visit Jeju, the whale watching spot is at Sindo Port Coastal Road. While at Jeju visit other beaches such as Daejeong Beach or Hamo Beach.
In another scene, the beach is also the setting when Young-woo told Jun-ho they should stop dating. That is after the emotions coming from the words left by his sister overwhelmed her.
While giving a plausible reason coming from the Buddhist temple abbot they met, Young-woo relates his thoughts to the courtroom case their team is working on frustrating Jun-ho in the process.
Activities to do in Hamo Beach include camping. In summer, visitors can enjoy sea walking, a water leisure sport featuring a diver’s helmet. Across from the beach is a field of sunflowers standing before Sanbangsan Mountain that is perfect for your Jeju Island souvenir shot.
