Actor Jung Ji Hoon is back on the big screen with another crime movie Gentleman!
젠틀맨 Gentleman (literal translation) is a crime fiction directed by Kim Kyung Won, starring Jung Ji Hoon. He will portray the character of Ji Hyun Soo, an owner of a private detective agency with a 100 percent success rate. One day, his client asked him to find a pet dog. Together with his client, Ji Hyun Soo visited a vacation cottage. Suddenly, the client was attacked by someone and collapsed. Hyun Soo wakes up to find his client gone and he gets framed for kidnapping him.
Hyun Soo encountered another incident on the way to the police station. He was involved in a car accident and was mistaken for a prosecutor. Disguised as a prosecutor, he pursues the truth of the case and faces the great evil hiding behind it. He soon meets Prosecutor Kim Hwa Jin (Choi Sung Eun) during his investigation and they find out that Kwon Do Hun (Park Sung Woong), a CEO of a major law firm, was somehow involved.
In the crime movie Gentleman, Ji Hoon played with his unique partner named “Wing.” Ji Hoon shared,
“There is a saying that filming with animals or babies is the most difficult, but I got help from the people around me. Wing is a genius dog that can distinguish and understand the words “run slowly”, “run at medium speed”, and “run quickly”. Thanks to that, the filming ended early, so I was able to go home quickly.”
He also assured that the audience will leave the theater with a smile on their faces.
Gentleman will be released in theaters on December 28.
