Coming soon, the Honest Candidate 2 comes back to serve us more entertainment. Actors Ra Mi Ran, Kim Mu Yeol, and Yoon Gyung Ho showcase their powerful acting again for the sequel.
Director Jang Yoo Jung also returns to lead the upcoming film. As a director and screenwriter, she specializes in creating comical genres.
Her works include Honest Candidate, The Bros, and Finding Mr. Destiny.
Honest Candidate 2 continues the story of a third-term congresswoman, Joo Sang Sook. She has a talent for lying and found herself lost her capability of lying one day before the elections.
Ra Mi Ran once again transforms as the politician Joo Sang Sook. Through Honest Candidate she won the 41st Blue Dragon Film Award for Best Actress.
Furthermore, Ra Mi Ran and Kim Mu Yeol deliver their perfect and comical synergy again. Playing as Park Hee Chul, Kim Mu Yeol transforms into Jo Sang-sook’s loyal assistant.
In every accident and mess Sang-sook left, Hee-chul diligently helps the congresswoman to solve and clean it.
In addition, actor Yoon Kyung Ho also returns as Joo Sang-sook’s immature husband. Currently, Kyung Ho is also prepping up for Green Mothers Club, and he also previously starred in Vicenzo, Itaewon Class, and more.
